The tuner is fantastic. But I think everyone already knew that.
I want to shout out Sue and the customer service that she, and Peterson provide.
I ordered the HDC-V - I mostly spend my time on guitar nowadays and bought this one because I thought it would be a slightly upgraded version of the HDC. Silly oversight, I was wrong. V stands for violin obvioulsy. I reached out to Sue to return the HDC-V and purchase the HDC. Keep in mind, this was completely my own fault. She insisited that I do not return the tuner, instead she would send me a clamp that will be a better fit for my guitar.
I would have had to pay for return shipping and taken the time to re-order the product, but Sue stepped in and suggested that she just send me a new clamp.
I really appreciate the gesture, especially since high quality customer service is hard to come by nowadays.
Sue, If you ever need a job in healthcare, please reach out :)

i live this strobe! It has made refining my intonation not only easier, but I am seeing noticeable improvement in just a few days of use! It also has great visibility being mounted on the peg box, which is much more visible than my previous tuner which was mounted on the violin shoulder. The VLN sweetener is also sweet, which is one of the reasons i got this strobe - the just/pure tuning adjustment makes notes ring (very clearly spot on).
