Best Tuner! (and best way to learn the notes on the fretboard?)

This is the best tuner I have ever owned, but it's more than that. I originally got it for it's accuracy in tuning and ability to save custom tunings, but I quickly realized it's usability in monitor mode was a game changer for memorizing the fretboard notes. It tunes very accurately and it is easy to use right out of the box for the basic tuning options. Changing to sweetened tunings, etc. I pushed a few buttons without reading the manual and I got what I wanted. I will eventually deep dive to set up tunings, but is functions very well as a basic accurate tuner and is so intuitive to use.

I've used this tuner continually for well over a year and absolutely love and depend on it's accurate tuning with my Gibson's, PRS, Taylor, Fender, ESP/LTD, and Yamaha electric and acoustics. I've tried and used several different tuners over several years, but this tuner [for pocket/quick carry] is #1 of my top three tuners choices. I can always rely on this tuner without fail! Very accurate and even most [not all] of my group use Peterson tuners. The clip is very easy to use and filter . . . I have yet for this device to fail. Awesome product!

Much easier to use than the clip version. Great controls, again easy to use. Love the ability to turn on & off required sweeteners.

Speaking of sweeteners, the open tunings & classical, make a huge difference. My guitars, basses & banjos sing & sound so, so much better.

I wondered about the purchase, especially the cost after a disastrous experience with the clip version, but this unit is well worth the expense. Easily the best & easiest tuner I’ve ever used.

Highly recommend this pice of kit. The extra functions especially the metronome are useful as well.
