Very good and compact for smaller pedalboards and - as usual - with unmatched Peterson quality. I have different Peterson tuners and they all number one for me, I just use them in a different situations. What you buy is what you get. I have to say thru the years that I didn't sold any of mine Peterson tuners. They are being used frequently in a different setups. Please remember - this screen is smaller... :-)

Main tool in a effect chain. Just a little heavy but the screen is very comfortable and the sound quality of connection is number one. Great for electric and acoustic instruments. I use it also flawlessly with acoustic double-bass and I can connect the instrument directly without the preamp without any signal loss or buzz problems. Best.

Always when I'm on tour and I have to do the fast-check of a piano I use this app. Very accurate. Maybe the fonts in a setting menu could be a little bigger ? There are many options to choose from... If I would change something in a app it could be the faster A=Hrz setting. It could be great to do not have it in a setting menu but just in a first view. Not only for the pitch correction but just for being shure that you set the exact tuner setting.

Best for studio recordings and mainly all in one tool - for practice. I'm a professional bass guitarist and double-bass player. It is appropriate tool for me. Last week I had recordings at 5 stringed double-bass. Low B was perfectly in tune. Thank you Peterson.

OK it is great... no, Peterson Tuners are exactly number one, but option when I can copy the presets to another tuner and name the tuners as I want is something marvelous!
As a professional musician I'm only dissapointed that I cannot buy Peterson T-shirt in my country or from nearby distributor.
I could use it sometimes on stage.

I bought my first Peterson StroboStomp way back before I got married and came off the road to live the life I wanted more than I wanted to continue touring, and way before my transition which included a legal name change,
So when I decided to learn to play bass guitar at 64 years old I bought my first bass and a Super Snark clip on tuner. Seven months later I upgraded to a five string bass while keeping my original bass guitar as a backup. The clip on tuner worked fine for that bass, but couldn’t handle the low B string of my five string bass. I compared several pedal tuners including the StroboStomp HD amongst them.
In the end it came down to two tuners. Big surprise here is that the only two leftover, after trying out several other options, were the StroboStomp HD and the StroboStomp Mini.
