After over a year using this tuner, this has become one of my core essentials for any gig. Provides a super intuitive interface that is easy to see from a distance (even with my terrible eyesight haha) and you can adjust the display to be easily visible in any kind of light, even in direct sunlight!!! And it includes presets that sound excellent and are fun to play with. If you really care about playing in tune (which you should), the StroboStompHD is a MUST HAVE!

I've had a number of tuners over my 40 year playing career but always assumed that Peterson Strobe tuners were the domain of my luthier and other tech oriented individuals. Receiving a gift certificate for my birthday, I took the plunge and bought a StroboStomp HD. It was pretty intimidating at first but the 24 part Peterson YouTube video instructions made it seem much more user friendly and easy to understand. In just a few days I already have a couple of presets (with different colors!) set up. The "sweeteners" really do work and figuring out how to adjust my guitar to a strobe tuner only took a couple of minutes.
Hats off to Peterson for making such a high tech tuner user friendly even to an elderly guitar player. Well done!
