Admittedly, it took a couple of days to get used to using a strobe tuner with my guitars & bass. It’s “a bit of a different animal” as they say. What initially astounded me were two things (and they still do to be honest). First, the level of accuracy the StroboClip HD is capable of, straight out of the box. Even more so, that it’s capable of a lot MORE precise accuracy should I wish to pursue it. Second, is just how intuitive the controls & overall usage are. It’s a bit confusing right at first, however within 5-10 minutes it ‘clicks’ and is completely understandable. Likely even less time would be necessary if you’ve used a strobe tuner before. I knew what ‘cents’ were. But this is the first tuner I’ve used that made me both ‘aware’ of them, and understanding of their use.

The “sweeteners” are what sold me on this tuner. What was once laborious & time confusing (changing from one tuning to another) is now faster to accomplish than the ‘usual’ method I had in the past of reaching standard tuning. It’s difficult to quantify just how nice that is - except to say that it is REALLY nice.

I really cannot fathom a single reason as to why ANYone would not want to transition to a StroboClip HD. I only wish I had years ago. It’s made THAT much of a difference.
