As clip tuners go, this is the best one I've used. Obviously a pedal tuner is a more solid item, but when you're in the middle of a song (as I was last night in the studio) and the heat detunes and you want to check an open string while playing, it's pretty handy.
Works well for my 5 string bass most of the time. Sometimes I need to use the harmonic on the B string rather than the open note in a more noisy environment, but it works.
Took a minute to get used to the graphical tuner that's a bit different to other similar tuners.
Clip is solid construction, which is difficult with something that offers such a flexible 360 degree rotation for visibility.
I had a fault with the clip after a while of use, but John provided very good customer support, so even though there was a fault, when a company gives good post-purchase support it makes me more likely to come back

I love the tuner; it feels professional and the "result" sounds sweet :-)
Besides my review on the tuner I would praise the support team; Somehow during five years of daily use of my tuner the locking nut of of the tiny screw (holding the foldable parts of the tuner together) had been lost. After contacting the support team (hoping they would give me the parameters of the screw and an idea where to buy the replacement), I received a brand new screw with a locking nut in days via mail (in a fancy envelope from Ireland by Airmail).
This kind of approach and helpfulness is such a rare thing nowadays. This is what I call "lifetime guarantee".
Thank you guys for all of your support!

Peterson tuners seem to be way ahead of most, if not all the competition. I have three of them, and would not use anything else.
Peterson’s backup support is brilliant. On one of my clip tuners, the tiny nut and bolt that attaches the clip to the display came loose and fell out, and was lost. I wrote to Peterson to enquire about getting a replacement. They promptly sent me out a replacement free charge.
That’s great service.

I have one of the clip on tuners and two of the pedal tuners and they are all amazing. When you get used to the Peterson Strobo tuners nothing else will do. They blow away all other tuners and theiy back their products up and provide great customer service.

I've heard so much about music played in the scale of Concert A = 432 Hz, that I wanted to try tuning my guitar and my ukulele to it. This tuner made it easy as pie. And by the way -- 432 Hz sounds way cool.

Using this little guy for tenor and bass trombone. Waaaay more accurate than the little LED tuner I was using before, and handles the low registers without any problems at all. If you're serious about playing in tune, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better solution than this one. Serious quality here!
