My Taylor twelve string has never sounded so in tune or been so easy to tune!

As a professional luthier, I've been relying on Peterson strobe tuners for decades, the stroboclip HD in particular. It's visually accurate display is especially useful when discussing tuning and show n tell with customers.

My new Stroboclip HD tuner appears to work very well and I'm pleased, although I haven't owned it for very long. A friend has had one of these for quite some time and likes it so that is one reason I purchased this tuner. The other reason for this purchase is Peterson's excellent quality and customer service reputation. I recommend this tuner!

Me parece sólido y aunque al comienzo no es fácil de entender al principio, al cabo de poco tiempo entiendo cómo funciona y es muy exacto!

Like so many other reviewers, I've used several other tuners from boxes to clip-ons. They have ranged from pretty expensive to relatively cheap. None of them have been as accurate or practical as the the Peterson Stroboclip HD. I now have three of them. They fit all my guitars well (even the funky Ovation headstocks). The tuning is so good and is really enhanced by the sweeteners. They are super accurate and easy to read.
One of the least appreciated features of the tuner is that it can be connected to the Peterson Connect portal. This will automatically update the tuner with the latest operating system (thank you). It also allows you to upload new tunings, trade tuning settings, and create custom tunings specific to your setup. I had trouble getting my tuners to connect until I realized that the cheapy micro USB cable I was using (from an old phone charger) was only useful for charging. I switched over to a data-capable micro USB cable and everything worked perfectly.
