The Strobo Stomp HD/LE is an amazing product. Essentially, the “remote select” feature which enables quick scrolling through tuning offset pre-sets with just a muted string “chuck” is invaluable in a live situation. With this feature I can select the many pre-programmed tuning offsets that I use on the fly in real time onstage…I’m basically my own guitar technician! I can switch instruments and quickly select and tune to different offsets in no time by myself. I’ve seen this “remote select” feature on other multi-effects units, but it never occurred to me that this could be done for tuner pre-sets…thank God Peterson made this feature for the Strobo Stomp HD/LE…I don’t have to bend down and fiddle with knobs or buttons to select different pre-sets!

The legendary HD display is so easy to read as always on the Strobo HD series tuners, but now I can assign a different color to each tuning preset…an added convenience for me onstage or even for a tech using it between songs! The build quality is really roadworthy…it does take a pounding as a good pedal tuner MUST on the road. Now the accuracy, convenience and durability come together for the perfect storm for the absolute best pedal tuner I’ve ever encountered over the last 35 years.
