I've had a couple dozen various clip-on style tuners since they first appeared on the market. This is my first Peterson Strobe tuner and I'm very impressed. I have a pretty good ear and can usually get my guitar to sound "in tune" without any tuner assistance. But if it ends up slightly off the standard pitch, then I don't play well with others (a life-long problem my mom might say...). So it's good for that. But this tuner has also proven itself worth the price for helping me set the intonation on all my guitars. Not a single one of my previous tuners was able to accurately evaluate pitch when I fretted notes at the 12th fret and compared them to the harmonic. The StroboClip performed this task perfectly. Now, all my guitars are in tune everywhere along the neck. Thanks Peterson!
