Strobostomp HD has become my go-to tuner, both at home and playing live. I have two of these units now and use them primarily to tune acoustic guitars. They are the best tuners I have ever used. I have been using Peterson tuners for years. I have two of the original Stomp Classics, both the original StroboClip and the newer HD version and also the StroboPLUS HD. I also own several TC Electronics Polytune and Polyclip units.
What I like best about these are the updated form factor, great build quality, color-customizable LCD display and best of all the sweeteners that Peterson is known for. My acoustic guitars sound great when tuned with the acoustic sweetener. I was using EQU (equal temperament) for a while and switched back. I immediately noticed an improvement in how the guitar(s) sounded. Peterson knocked it out of the park with this tuner. Thanks!
