The Peterson StroboPLUS HDC is my new go-to tuner. It completely replaced what I thought was already a great tuner. The big HD strobe display is insanely clear, and the way it locks onto a note makes fine adjustments feel effortless. No jitter, no lag — just a stable, accurate readout that makes setup work smoother.
For bench work, especially intonation, the precision and consistency really stand out. The rechargeable battery and oversized screen make it perfect for a permanent spot on the bench, and it feels like a real professional tool, not a gadget.
If you do your own setups or work on multiple guitars, the StroboPLUS HDC is absolutely worth having. It makes the job easier, faster, and more precise.

It’s the greatest tuner for a tech, especially when there’s not enough room for an analog strobe tuner. It’s the only tuner I use!

Way more functions than I will ever use.
Very easy to create and load sweetened tunings.
Online manuals are not typical Chinese English, you can actually understand them.
After using this tuner for a few weeks, I am happy with the purchase.

By far the best tuner. 30 year player, have had all of the rest. Love this thing.

We are using 4 Strobo Plus tuners across two bands in South Africa. We have been using them for years now. The Pipe band is the Transvaal Scottish Pipes and Drums based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We use them for both the Grade 2 band and the grade 4 band. The support has been great and we have just purchased a new Led crystal and 3 new batteries which were delivered to South Africa. Thank you so much. Regards Craig Scheffel.

Purchased the unit in the end of 2024. Let's start with good - metronom is flexible and loud enough - can say the best on the market (I stick to that daily), tuner is nice looking and looks reliable. Negative points - tuner does not work corectly in "air" mode (mix up the notes or do not react at all) you need always use cable connection. All connections to the unit you need to make through any kind of explorer (Safari does not work) there is no good application to tune the unit up. Creating of own metronom patterns is headache. Hang up, slow, doesn't work at all - this is the point for producer to improve. My decision was to use it only locally without any connection to the lap top. In 2025 made decision to download new firmware update. No connection to the laptop. USB burned out. In total I used USB connection 3-5 times. In my life I don't remember any problems on any devices with burned USB. But obviously it happens one day with any unit. Unit was sent to Musicstore service to repai ...

This is easily the best tuner I have ever owned. I also purchased the Peterson TP-3, the clip-on tuning pickup. I am now able to tune my acoustic upright bass just as easily as I tune my Strat or one of my ukes.

If you’re like me and constantly tinkering with your collection—swapping pickups, doing your own setups, or obsessing over intonation—stop messing around with cheap tuners. I finally grabbed the StroboPlus HDC and it’s a total game-changer for the workbench.
The 0.1-cent accuracy is the real deal. When I’m dialing in a bridge after a string gauge swap, this thing shows me exactly what’s happening in real-time. Those "Sweetened" tunings are also killer; they actually make my acoustics and offsets sound "in tune" with themselves for once.
It feels solid, the screen is huge and bright, and being USBC rechargeable is a nice touch so I’m not hunting for 9Vs mid-mod. If you take your gear seriously and do your own work, just buy it. It’s the best tool on my bench, hands down.
