Works very well. So far the tuner is easy to use. The sweetened tunings are nice and I can hear the tuning is a lot more accurate then the led tuners. The clamp is tight which is nice (but don't leave it on the headstock overnight) and so far the gooseneck seems sturdy and pivots well

I bought a Strobostomp Mini a couple years ago, which was a real game changer for my plug-in guitars. I didn't realize how out of tune I had been playing for 50 years! I was using tuners, and thought I was in tune, but after using the Peterson Strobostomp, I realized I really wasn't. I just bought the StroboClip HDC for my acoustic guitars, and - same thing - the level of accuracy in the tuning is incredible. I wouldn't have believed it had I not experienced it. Optimizing the tunings of your guitars will make them so much more enjoyable - try it - you'll probably be amazed!

This clip on Peterson strobe tuner is without doubt superior to the digital headstock and sound hole tuners that I have been using for years. I retuned five guitars with the Peterson strobe tuner that I first tuned with digital headstock and sound hole tuners. In every case the Peterson strobe tuner showed to my surprise that my guitar strings were not in perfect tune. The little adjustments that the Peterson strobe tuner identified made my guitars sound noticeably better. They sound prettier. And this was without using the Peterson sweeteners. Highly recommended.

An excellent device, the best in my collection of clip on tuners. The only small fault is in the instructions. They don't indicate that briefly hitting the 'start' button makes your chosen tuning choice blink, equal is default, and allows you to scroll through the 'sweeteners' with the buttons beside the start to scroll up and down the listing. Hitting the start more than briefly turns the device off. Plus, I already knew what 'sweetened tunings' generally were and why I may want to select one.
