This is an easy-to-use tuner right out of the box. It has some serious capabilities; however, I doubt I will use it for more than the regular tuning and maintenance of guitars. electric and double basses, and mandolins. I wanted the very best tuner I could get for performing maintenance and set ups on my instruments. Very satisfied with the products (tuner and charger).
