This is one of the most fabulous tuners ever. I have this and a 490 ST, Until recently I was using other brands all my life and none of them ever tuned quite right. These are so accurate. My guitars sound better and are more in tune and it is so much easier now. I wish I knew about them so long ago. At least I do now. Petersons are the very best. I don't see myself using anything else ever again.

I've been using Peterson tuners for a while now, and the StroboVUE has been a great addition.
The larger display is excellent, especially when compared side by side with my StroboStomp Mini. I also appreciate the angled enclosure, customizable display colors, and always-on design. The tuning experience is exactly what I've come to expect from Peterson: precise, responsive, and easy to trust.
The lack of a footswitch is worth considering depending on how your pedalboard is configured, but for someone using a dedicated tuner output or another way to mute their signal, the design makes a lot of sense.
I wouldn't necessarily replace an existing Peterson tuner just for the StroboVUE, but I think it's an excellent option for someone building a pedalboard or looking for an always-visible tuner.

I just bought this awesome strobe stomp HD and it works awesome but I’m having a problem getting a clean signal to my amp when used in front of my FatRat, I use all the same high quality road hog cables from guitar to Peterson to FatRat to amp, 18 foot 1 foot 6 foot cables, when in bypass or all 3 of the dip switch positions and when the Fat Rat is in bypass, I bought supposedly a good 9 volt power supply for the Peterson and it’s supposed to have noise suppression but it doesn’t have the in line filter like my FatRat power supply, that’s the next thing I’m going to replace as I bought it off Amazon and who now’s if it’s the problem, I’m working on it, straight into the amp everything is working great but with those two peddles in line it sucks, it cuts into my playing time as I spent hours trying to clean up the bypass signals, so far I just used the Peterson on GTR sweetening and I love it, easy to see and really cool, it’s like having a beautiful girl friend that bitches at you all ...

I like the StroboClip HD so much I now have 3. I love the accuracy and the speed at which it works. I've tried other clip-on tuners and find them slow, they say in tune for a second then go high or low, almost like it first finds a reference point then compares and after a second or two it shows a reading. I also have The Strobo Plus HDC, it is awesome. I've had friends that never used a strobe tuner use them and get confused as to what they were seeing, but after a few minutes it becomes obvious. Well worth the cost.
