For the advanced professional studio personnel. The sweetener is the main feature of this bad boy! You can easily log into Peterson Connect and make customized sweetened tunings for each of your different instruments. I won't reveal my secret (yet), but I have a pretty good method for building awesome sweetened tunings. Which I believe are the keys to unlocking the guitars full potential. When you play guitar you are bending the string beyond normal picking just by fretting/playing. What the sweetener does for me is it compensates for that. Usually the "G" and "low E" need to be backed off (flatted), there seems to be a consistent pattern of an "S" shape when you look at it on a graph, which would explain why true temperament frets look how they do. With having straight frets, and not true temperament this is the best way to lock in the tuning so that you won't go sharp unintentionally hurting the sound and performance.

I have one of the clip on tuners and two of the pedal tuners and they are all amazing. When you get used to the Peterson Strobo tuners nothing else will do. They blow away all other tuners and theiy back their products up and provide great customer service.

I've heard so much about music played in the scale of Concert A = 432 Hz, that I wanted to try tuning my guitar and my ukulele to it. This tuner made it easy as pie. And by the way -- 432 Hz sounds way cool.
