I use this with my E9 10 string pedal steel and with my 6 string square neck dobro. I use the "sweetened" SE9 (open strings) and SP9 (pedals down) for the steel and the DBO for my dobro. I have them color coded so can easily tell I am in the one I want. Easy to see on stage. Easy to dial in the strings to tune. Like how easy it was to take all the other tunings off so I don't have to scroll through anything else. Great tuner.

STROBOCLIP HDC is probably the best clip tuner I've ever owned. Perfect control, quick tuning, great setting options via the app and the ability to add a large number of other tunings that can be downloaded for free, or create your own very precise tuning for any instrument, it's incredible. I was very pleased with the recharge. Peterson is a bit more expensive, but it's worth it and tunes perfectly. I can only recommend it.

I've been playing classical guitar as a hobby for 40 years. When I first started learning, I used a tuning fork, like many people in the past, without an electronic tuner. About 20 years later, when electronic tuners began to become widely available, I started using one myself. I've had the Stroboclip for a few years, and I love it. My guitars used to have good days and bad days. Now every day is a good day. I recommend the tuners to friends. I bought one for my brother when he got his Martin 0015m. A week ago, I noticed that the screw connecting the tuner to the clip arm had come loose and disappeared. I asked Peterson via the website whether they did spares. I had a reply within a couple of hours that they would send a replacement screw and locknut as soon as possible. It just arrived, free of charge. I might love Peterson tuners even more.

Other guitar makers always told me I should have a Peterson Autostrobe. I hesitated because they are expensive relative to other tuners. Having finally purchased one, I see the advantage of showing not just fundamentals but also harmonics.

I like to have a case for all my instruments and equipment. The Autostrobe soft case fits well while still leaving room for the power cord. I would buy again.
