Thoroughly delighted with my new Stroboclip HD!!! Tremendous value!!! I have been using a well known competitor's pedal tuner for years and I wanted the clip on for redundancy, and to allow me to tune on stage with my volume dialed back but loud enough that I am able to hear what I am doing. As well, I wanted to be able to leave it on while playing and still use the tuner pedal as a mute switch when changing instruments. As I researched the product and the sweetened tuning features I realized that this was exactly what I needed to reduce my tuning frustration! The high level of accuracy appealed to me and found the strobe very quick and responsive. The guitar now seems to stay much more "in tune" over the course of several hours of playing, which I believe is because it is in a better tuned state to start with! I find I am barely referring to the pedal at all. I use the Stroboclip primarily on a Gibson Les Paul, with it "rear facing". The one thing that I would like to see is a bracke ...

So far so good. I made a guitar that seems to have some resonance issues. When using another tuner I noted it registered the troubled string different over time. Eventually it settled on the best tuning. I got this tuner to see if it will be able to give me better feedback for this issue. It’s my fault on the build for not understanding the interferences that can happen. But, analyzing more is needed. I think this tuner will help me understand a bit more on this. Its dial will move left or right to display cents a little more clearly than others. That’s what I wanted.
More than this, it has the ability to offer “ sweetened” tuning. I will understand this more as I go I’m sure. To me, it seems like no guitar will have perfect intonation. So, I think better players will tune differently for each depending on the key the piece is in. That’s how I believe this “ sweetened “ tuning works?
For now, it seems to be a lot of tuner for the money. It takes me further to accuracy than my ear can t ...

I just started to use my new StroboClip HD with my cello. I will also use it with my violins. The instructions are clear. I pressed the top buttons a few times to locate the sweetened tuning for cello, which is perfect 5ths. The tuner easily clips safely onto the cello bridge and immediately registers the accuracy of the intonation.

I own an old Conn Strobotuner that I used many years ago when I was teaching and performing, which has a similar read-out as the Peterson StroboClip HD. I like this type of readout far and above the other electronic tuners that I have used with various stringed instruments. With other small tuners, I have had to play the guessing game when the electronic signal shifts between a little sharp, a little flat, maybe right on--that is not the "accuracy" that I need.

The Peterson is easy to read, easy to understand, easy to clip on/clip off. I ordered the zippered case along with the StroboClip. I am frequently stuffing a tuner into my briefcase to ...

Love the Stroboclip HD protective case! Wish it had come with the tuner.
