I really like the new StroboClip, especially for acoustic guitar, mandolin, Dobro and banjo.

I also have a StroboFlip. Can anyone at Peterson provide settings for a sweetened mandolin tuning for the StroboFlip?

Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,

I have just brought the New Peterson StrobeClip but I do like it but I also have the Peterson StrobeFlip when I set up the two turner's to my 5 string Banjo both are out to each other

Banjo Setting's

Flip Clip String

D D 1
B C 2
G Ab 3
D Eb 4
G Ab 5

The Flip is set for the banjo as flowing:

When Sweetened is chosen press the TMPR/SWT button once to access the
Sweetened then use the up/down button and select the DOBR◑ then press the
˘/Hz button to exit the menu to activating the chosen Sweetener (confirming), then press SAVE if desire.

The Clip is set for the banjo as flowing:

Set the Sweetened at BJO.

I do not know why two tuner's are different in tuning the Banjo, but I must admit that I tune my banjo to the StobeFlip as I had this the longest and I do trust this tuner then the Clip.

Also might like to use:

Compression Sustainer (Pedal)

You can also use a “Compression Sustainer (Pedal)” that stows down the reading when connected the red light come on then press the pedal and the red light go’s out and you see the reading stow’s down also set the setting as shown in the image’s, and dos work if you want more information see the video in the book “The Art of Tap Tuning” by Roger H. Siminoff , there is a few makes as following:

B**$, Behringer, Marshall, Keeley, Jacques and others

Set control as following:

Level max. Tone 0. Attack 0. Sustain max.

And remember to set Compression Sustainer (Pedal) as above settings for using with the StroboTuner (into the hardware or software tuner) you do not this for strobosoft 2.0 and above

The Clip does have a nice tin case as the Flip does not have a case.

I would still like the settings for the Mandolin sweetener so I can program them into my StroboFlip.
