Well I received my Stroboflip tuner last night. I turned it on and tried to tune my guitar. The built-in microphone did not appear to recognize any of the strings! I used the included tuning pickup and the unit recognized the strings almost immediately. I read through the manual and even reset the unit, but still no recognition of any of the strings without the TPII. I read all of the FAQ's and follwed the instructions with no result. I was pleased with the way the unit worked with the TPII attached to the headstock; however I expected to use the built-in mic in quiet environments. For those of you using similar Peterson's, am I doing something wrong?

If I can get the mic to work I will definitely keep it. The guitar sounds much better after I tuned it, in comparison with my LED tuner. Anyone else experiencing my problem?

I was contacted today and the tuner will be replaced. Excellent customer service!
