Hello To all!

I use my 490 autostrobe for guitartuning, and intonating.

Why is it that with the lower strings E, B (on my 7 string) it is difficult to get a clear image? does this mean the tone itself moves "in" and "out" of tune? and this is more noticeable with lower (guitar) strings?

Pitch change is indicated by image movement, not clarity. The display clarity has to do with harmonic content of the instrument being tuned. You can change the way the lower strings are displayed by pressing the Display button between the two screens. There are three display modes to choose from.
