Hello,
For some time now, I have been thinking that my cable has been rather loose in the input jack of the Strobostomp. Today I opened her up, to find that the input is actually cracked all the way through on the top (the plastic that is). I guess I yanked a the cable too hard some time, who knows? Anyway, I would like to replace the input jack (and do the output jack at the same time as well). Which Neutrik jack should I use for that? I am looking for the jacks that will give me the best quality and durability, and which I can just solder onto the board, when I take the current ones off. http://www.neutrik.com/fl/en/audio/203_411/Jacks_group.aspx Also, I have never soldered on a circuitboard before, I've only soldered guitar and speaker cables. What should I look out for/keep in mind when removing the current jacks and mounting the new ones? Thanks in advance for any answers, John |
