I tuned up my pedal steel a few days ago...the VSAM was working OK...though there were a couple of instances where it seemed like no signal was getting to the VSAM...and then all was fine.
I assumed the cable was maybe bad....switched cables and moved on. Then today...I plugged in a guitar...and nothing. The VSAM powers up fine...outputs tones OK...and I can dial through all the functions...but both mic and input jack are only picking up very weak signals. I can barely get the low E-A-D strings to register...but the G-B-E strings nothing. Even the low strings...I have to pluck them very hard to get anything to register on the VSAM. I don't undertstand why it would just stop working. It wasn't dropped or anything like that. I only use it in my studio. ????? It's 5 years old or so...the display shows Copyright 2000-02 and it's # 000011399 HELP! |
