Hello everyone Peterson!
Just bought a vintage 520 in really good condition, the only thing is the vernier dial. It seems to be at concert pitch when the dial is at -40. Should the dial be at 0 or is this normal? If this isn't normal, what do I do next to rectify this problem! Cheers Sonictimbo |

Hi Sonictimbo,
The Vernier knob has a set screw on the side which may have slipped over the years. Since the cents graduation is on the knob itself, it could just be a matter of loosening the knob after you line the strobe up to concert pitch, and then carefully re-positioning it at 0 cents. Otherwise it needs to come home to us for calibration. John N. |
