Startup in instrument mode Options

Another question: is there any way to tell StroboSoft to start up in instrument tuning mode with either a specified preset or the last used preset ?

I am trying to achive completely hands-off-the-mouse operation of the tuner. I already wrote me a little program which starts Strobosoft automatically when signal is detected on the Mic input of my soundcard (would be a nifty feature for StroboSoft itself by the way) and closes it again, when no audio is present, but then I need to select instrument mode with the mouse, making the whole hands free point moot.

So is there some registry setting, command line option, whatever to start in instrument tuner mode instead of chromatic ?

Currently, StroboSoft only recalls your final settings before closing.

The default position is that the chromatic screen opens when launched even if closed with the set-up or instrument tune screen open.

We have identified this and, while it is not a bug, we are going to change this in a future release.

at the moment I am working around it by posting mouse messages to the tuner software, simulating a click on the 'Instrument Tuner' button. It works sort of, but I have to wait a little after starting StroboSoft and sometimes, if the PC is busy, I may not wait long enough and it doesn't accept the 'mouse click'. So if you would add this as a feature it would be great !

This is just what I was looking for. I always have to change StroboSoft from the default settings and it's great to hear that the new version will address this.

I look forward to the release of StroboSoft 2.0 with excitement!
