Here are some pics from the January 2005 NAMM Show:

From Lake Michigan's freezing shores to Anaheim's balmy sunshine

We're getting pretty nifty at setting up our booth these days...

For some reason, this year was the year of "cars & bikes in the booth"...

...Yup, a Hummer ought to do it...

...Nah, a Hot Rod'll grab their attention...

...or maybe a chopper, well, we were sort of glad we didn't bring the Peterson Strobester...

Besides the cars & bikes there were also a lot of people to meet and instruments to look at, how about the inlay work on this Martin guitar ...

We met a bunch of people at the show, dealers and artists alike, Dean Parks had a go on our Carter D10 steel guitar...

Author and tap tuning guru Roger Siminoff and his wife Rosemary stopped by...

Dyke Corson of Corson Music is a very capable steel player...

...as is Jerry Knapper of St. Louis Music...

Drum Workshop had a very colorful display of toms at their booth...

Check out these unusual cymbals...

Colin Hay of Men At Work and Ringo Starr's All Star Band was eyeballing the new StroboStomp...

Guitar tech Jim Survis stopped to chat, Jim's clients include Joe Perry of Aerosmith - no prizes for guessing which brand of tuner he uses...

Laurence Juber is a Peterson regular and stopped to talk about the StroboStomp...

L.A. studio guitar & steel session ace Jay Leach turned up out of the blue...

Warrior Guitars got framed...

Stevie Wonder slipped through the show almost unnoticed...

Some cool sounds from the Sennheiser booth...

We got lots of compliments for the StroboStomp's 12 string temperaments from Rickenbacker players...

Gary and Norman from Muncy Guitars at their booth, their highly accurate precision fret system is both an eye and ear-opener, congrats guys!

Keith Rudyk from Barenaked Ladies and Steve McDonald from Goodall Guitars...

Suddenly it was Saturday, a day to see and be seen...

"...I'll give you $50 for your Nikes, these sandals are killing me!..."

"...Ooh, I can see our house from up here!"

"...temperatures today - 70°..."

"...its actually my natural color..."

...ladies of the canyon...

Back to business, Bobby Carlos showed up, Bobby is a permanent fixture on stage whenever Tom Petty tours...

...Jake from Demeter, Paul from MiniKiss and Chris Labriola from Peterson Strobe Tuners pose for the camera

Chris Labriola and Peterson endorser David Ellefson at the Guitar Player hoedown...

Michael & Gerd from PLEK GmbH in Germany (is that a StroboStomp in Gerd's hand?)

Chris Lawrence says "Peterson! DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT ONE!!

So take the man's advice, he knows what he's talking about !
