Peterson tuners feature unique Sweetener™ presets not found in any other brand of tuner. This comes from an almost 70-year legacy that reaches back to the dawn of popular music as we know it today.

Peterson StroboPlus HD

Decades of research and the experience of musicians the world over have led to the creation of the “Sweetener”, a system of preset tuning offsets designed for specific instruments, only available on Peterson tuners, and used worldwide wherever precise and professional results are expected.

Peterson tuners have long been the choice of accordion manufacturers, technicians and regulators from the Tirol to the streets of Castelfidardo. The current Strobo series of tuners from Peterson includes the StroboPlus, a compact and affordable battery operated programmable tuner which features preset tunings for accordion. These tuning presets are the cent values for musette, or “tremolo” effects of varying strength, or “wetness,” in chromatic and diatonic accordions. Also included is a pure, dry Cajun setting intended for diatonic accordions. These presets are intended for monitoring the instrument’s condition and for making minor corrections. Do not attempt to tune the reeds without having basic tuning skills and technique, as damage can occur. If in doubt, consult a qualified technician.
